Saina Nehwal’s phenomenal success as an international badminton player is one of the most inspiring stories of Indian sports. She has won over 24 international titles, which includes eleven Superseries titles. In 2015 she was able to attain the world no. 1 ranking, thereby becoming the only female player from India and overall the second Indian player to achieve this feat. She has represented India three times in the Olympics, winning a bronze medal in her second appearance.
Nehwal has achieved several milestones in badminton for India. She is the only Indian to have won at least one medal in every BWF major individual event, namely the Olympics, the BWF World Championships, and the BWF World Junior Championships. She is the first Indian badminton player to have won an Olympic medal, the first Indian to have reached the final of the BWF World Championships, along with being the only Indian to have won the BWF World Junior Championships or. In 2006, Nehwal became the first Indian female and the youngest Asian to win a 4-star tournament. It was India's first medal in any BWF major team event. Nehwal became the first Indian to win two singles gold medals (2010 and 2018) in Commonwealth Games.
In 2016, the Government of India conferred the Padma Bhushan - India's third highest civilian award - on her. Previously, the nation's top two sporting honours, namely the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna and the Arjuna Award, were also conferred on her by the Government of India.

Saina Nehwal has married in a caste who were one of the two prime communities who criticized and abused wrestlers & farmers when they were protesting.( Issue here is not directed against her husband or his family, they may be nice people).
She must have forgotten that they also did the same thing to her when she played internationals. Every time she lost in international tournaments they used to give blow ups of her shattered images in leading national news papers & channels which are controlled by them. They didn't flash her victories till she reached semi-finals. They preferred giving news flashes of their favourite communities players just practising, forget about winning. They would prefer giving news flash of their favourite who had won some medal many years ago.
They are praising her now because of Saina's own community's full solidarity behind vinesh phogat on her return from Paris against conspiracy committed on her by rivals has become a political challenge for the party you have joined now.
Saina has forgotten when she was on peak of her career a movie was proposed to be made on her with then top actress Sharadha kapoor but these very rivals of her community had forced the producer and actress to back off from the venture and the proposed movie was put in deep cold storage. It was only when her fame faded a movie was allowed to be made with a mid level heroine. By then people were not interested in seeing it.

वही लोग अब उसकी प्रशंसा कर रहे हैं क्योंकि विनेश फोगाट उनके लिए एक राजनीतिक चुनौती बन गई हैं क्योंकि उसके अपने समुदाय ने पेरिस ओलंपिक में प्रतिद्वंद्वी समुदायों द्वारा विनेश के खिलाफ की गई साजिश के खिलाफ पूरा समर्थन किया है।
साइना भूल गई हैं कि जब वह अपने करियर के शिखर पर थीं तो उस समय की प्रसिद्ध अभिनेत्री शरदा कपूर के साथ उस पर एक फिल्म बनाने का प्रस्ताव रखा गया था, लेकिन उसके समुदाय के इन्हीं प्रतिद्वंद्वियों ने निर्माता और अभिनेत्री को इस फिल्म से पीछे हटने के लिए मजबूर कर दिया था और प्रस्तावित फिल्म को दफ़न कर दिया था । जब उसकी प्रसिद्धि फीकी पड़ गई तभी मध्य स्तर की नायिका के साथ फिल्म बनाने की अनुमति दी गई। तब तक लोगों को इसे देखने में कोई दिलचस्पी नहीं थी ।
2)- साइना नेहवाल इस बात से नाराज होंगी कि उसकी ही जाति के लोगों ने उसके समय में विनेश फोगाट की तरह सम्मान नहीं दिया। उसे पता होना चाहिए उसकी अपनी जाति के लोग पहले मानसिक रूप से सो रहे थे। उनको भैंसों की तरह उसका बचाव करने की समझ नहीं थी।
अब वे कुछ बुद्धिजीवियों के उकसावे पर धीरे-धीरे जागृत हो रहे हैं। हालाँकि, उनमें से कई का व्यवहार अभी भी जंगली भैंसों जैसा है। वे अपने ही लोगों पर हमला कर सकते हैं जिन्होंने उन्हें सही दिशा में जाने की सलाह दी होगी। कुछ लोग अभी भी जंगली भैंसों (भैंसों) की तरह प्रतिक्रिया करते हैं, जो उन्हें दी गई अच्छी और समझदार सलाह को आलोचना के रूप में लेते हैं। साइना के समुदाय में एक कहावत है कि "गधे की आंख में घी डाला, गधा बोला फोड़ दी आंख"।
